Our client is well-funded startup backed by top-tier VCs, building a crowdsourced platform to evaluate and benchmark AI models. Users compare model outputs and provide feedback, which is then used to improve model performance and reliability. The platform uniquely combines gamification, user incentives, and blockchain-backed transparency to generate high-quality human preference data at scale, critical for fine-tuning today’s leading AI systems. It’s a fantastic opportunity to work on foundational infrastructure at the intersection of AI, product, and decentralized data.
We are recruiting for an Applied AI Researcher possessing deep expertise in contemporary large language model frameworks and demonstrated experience implementing generative AI solutions in production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze emerging trends in generative AI and assess their strategic application potential
- Evaluate new methodologies and technologies for integration into existing systems
- Architect, develop, and maintain sophisticated LLM-based applications
- Manage complete machine learning pipelines encompassing data preprocessing, model development, performance evaluation, and deployment operations
- Translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, from technical specialists to business stakeholders
- Prepare comprehensive documentation and presentations on research findings and technical decisions
- Partner with software engineers, UX designers, and data science teams to deliver innovative AI-powered solutions
- Contribute to product strategy and technical roadmap development
About You
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related quantitative field – PhD desirable!
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in machine learning and AI development
- Proven track record of successfully deploying AI models in production environments
- Experience with enterprise-scale AI implementations
- Advanced Python ability
- Extensive experience with ML frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, and JAX
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, data structures, and optimization techniques
- Understanding of MLOps practices and deployment strategies
