Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimise computer vision models for real-time health monitoring.
• Work on facial analytics and build models that can detect subtle changes in facial features and colour.
• Implement and fine-tune deep learning models, particularly video transformers.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to market.
• Apply signal processing and deep learning knowledge to create innovative solutions
• Contribute to the company's research efforts; published papers in the field are highly valued.

Essential Skills:

Experience:

• Proven track record in computer vision, preferably with a focus on facial analytics.
• Expertise in deep learning and video transformers is highly desired.
• Experience in a start-up environment and having successfully brought products to market.
• Strong understanding of signal processing, computer vision, and deep learning theory.
• Prior experience as a team lead or having driven multiple projects independently.
• Demonstrable coding proficiency; expertise is not mandatory, but high-level competency is required.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge in Python, NumPy, CUDA, PyTorch, and Docker.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Snowflake is a plus.

Attributes:

• Highly motivated, ambitious, and able to work independently.
• Ability to articulate the application of transformers in projects and the tangible outcomes achieved.
• Strong theoretical background in machine learning and computer vision; academic publications are a plus.
• Familiarity with Photoplethysmography (PPG) is a bonus.
